We theoretically study the fundamental problems in condensed matter
physics and statistical physics as follows:
- In the high density quantal systems such as the high-Tc superconductors,
the strong electron-electron correlations are considered to play
crucial roles for manifestation of the superconductivity. From
such a view of point, we are developing a new theory for the superconductivity
beyond the BCS theory.
- We study intensively the quantal fluctuations inherent to the
superconducting states, the charge density wave states, or the
spin density wave states of the low dimensional organic conductors.
- We investigate dynamical phenomena related to crystal growth
and, in particular, nonequilibrium pattern formation on solid surfaces.
